Dingač is unarguably the highest quality Croatian black vine. It thrives on the slopes of the hill Dingač under extreme conditions that make it different from any other vine, except for Postup, which is the most similar in quality and geographical position. A lot is known about Dingač, and the best testimony to its quality is also the fact that during the Austro-Hungarian period, ports with warehouses were built for the purchase of this wine in picturesque bays of the southern side of Pelješac, which would end up on the tables of crowned European rulers in the shortest possible time. Dingač wine was awarded with Sabatina Gold Medal twice, in 2020 and 2023, and in 2021 it received a Silver Medal for product quality.
